Give the gift of education this holiday season!
Need a gift for someone who has everything? Need to say thank you to a special teacher or coach? Need to send a gift in honor of a special occasion, like an anniversary or bat mitzvah?

Give the gift of education in honor of your loved one this holiday season.

Your gift to New Jersey SEEDS will make an impact that lasts well beyond the occasion. Make a donation today and change the lives of high-achieving, low-income students by giving them the opportunity to reach their full potential.

Purchase this year's card (pictured right) for $15, or a pack of 10 for $125. Your gift can be made online or mailed to the SEEDS office (494 Broad Street, Suite 105, Newark, NJ 07102). Please allow 5 business days for processing.

January 2009 marked the launch of Friends of SEEDS (FOS), a committee of dedicated volunteers whose activities support and enhance many of the social, cultural and academic experiences that NJ SEEDS makes available to our students. This important volunteer effort helps spread the word about the success of our academic programs and the importance of NJ SEEDS to students and families.

Examples of their good works include:

  • Breakfast Brigade - FOS volunteers and their children provide breakfast for SEEDS scholars attending Saturday classes throughout the school year.
  • Care Packages– Care packages and notes of encouragement from FOS members and their children are sent to SEEDS graduates attending independent schools each year.
  • Mock and Admissions Interviews – FOS volunteers interviewed students applying to SEEDS and current scholars in preparation for independent school admission.
  • Young Scholars Book Clubs– Fifth- and sixth-graders and their parents meet with Young Scholars to read and discuss selected books. The clubs provide an opportunity for literary enjoyment, academic enrichment and social interaction.
  • Adopt-a-Family - FOS members and their friends provide holiday gifts for families going through difficult times.
