Directions to New Jersey SEEDS
Public Transportation:
From the Broad Street Train Station – Walk south on Broad St. for 2 blocks, then cross the street. Our building, 494 Broad, is on the northeast corner of Broad St. and Bridge St.
From Newark Penn Station – Take the Broad St – Penn Station Light Rail to the Atlantic St. stop (5 min.). Walk north on Atlantic St., turn left onto Bridge St., then right onto Broad St. Our building, 494 Broad, will be immediately on your right.
By Bus – Take any bus that stops at the Broad Street Station Bus Stop. Walk south on Broad St. for 2 blocks, then cross the street. Our building, 494 Broad, is on the northeast corner of Broad St. and Bridge St.
By Car, 8am – 5pm, weekdays: (for directions to free parking after 5pm weekdays and on weekends, see below**)
From Route I-78 – Take Exit 57, following signs for Route 21 North/Newark. As soon as you merge onto Route 21, make your way over to the far right lane for the Broad St. exit. At the end of the exit ramp, proceed for approximately 2 miles on Broad St. The New Jersey SEEDS office is located at 494 Broad St., on the northeast corner of Broad St. and Bridge St. For parking, turn right onto Bridge St., go one block, and turn right onto Atlantic St. Enter the IDT garage about halfway down the block on your left. Rates range from $5 for ½ hour to $12 for 3 hours and over.
From Route I-280 – Take Exit 15, Route 21 South/McCarter Highway and go right at the end of the ramp. At the first light, turn right onto Bridge St. The New Jersey SEEDS office is located at 494 Broad St., on the northeast corner of Bridge St. and Broad St. (two blocks from McCarter Highway). For parking, go one block after you turn onto Bridge St. from McCarter Highway, then make a left hand turn onto Atlantic St. Enter the IDT parking garage about halfway down the block on your left. Rates range from $5 for ½ hour to $12 for 3 hours and over.
From the South on the New Jersey Turnpike – Take Exit 13A toward Newark Airport. Merge onto Routes 1 & 9, then follow signs to Route 21 North. As soon as you merge onto Route 21, make your way over to the far right lane for the Broad St. exit. From the North on the New Jersey Turnpike – Take Exit 15W, Route I-280W toward Newark/Kearny. Proceed on I-280 to Exit 15A, Route 21 South/McCarter Highway. Take a right onto Route 21. From the Garden State Parkway, North or South – Take Exit 145, Route I-280 East toward Newark. Follow directions for Route I-280 above.
